Hanine Salem, Ph.D.

Managing Partner

Dr. Hanine Salem is a Managing Partner at Novus Consulting Group where she currently heads both the K-12 Education and the Organizational Performance & Effectiveness Practices. Dr. Salem brings more than 20 years of senior international working and consulting experience in education policy and organizational development. 

 

Hanine led several large-scale strategy development and implementation engagements, educational and human capital development initiatives as well as governmental transformation programs. Her interest is concerned with improving leadership’ decision making process through rigorous policy analysis combined with results-oriented public management methods such as strategic planning, organizational performance measurement, and program evaluation.

Lesley Hunter, Prof Dr

Partner

Dr. Lesley Hunter is an internationally recognized expert in educational leadership and school self-evaluation. She has achieved a rare balance of practical experience and academic credibility for her work in developing authentic leaders to drive effectiveness and accelerate school improvement. 

 

Lesley has worked extensively as a school inspector, strategic consultant, government advisor and leadership coach across the UK, Europe and Middle East. Her interest is in developing leaders to challenge behaviour and build capacity at all levels in education, from individual schools to government level.

 

Her strategic work focuses on the development and implementation of organisational change and leadership sustainability through professional development programmes at national level, including robust project management and forensic evaluation of impact and outcomes.

Kevin Wallis

Partner

Kevin Wallis is a strategic advisor with over twenty-five years of international experience supporting senior government entities, leadership offices, and private investors across the Middle East, UK, US and Asia. His work spans strategy development, ideation and concept creation, national-scale programme design, organisation transformation, policy reform, and high-stakes project delivery.

Kevin specialises in taking complex, multi-stakeholder challenges and turning them into actionable strategies, clear operating models, and measurable outcomes. He has advised

leadership teams on national initiatives, future-skills ecosystems, professional capability frameworks, research and innovation systems, and large-scale transformation programmes. His role frequently includes shaping vision, designing implementation pathways, assessing commercial and operational feasibility, and providing independent evaluation and quality assurance.

Kevin brings a blend of analytical rigour, creativity, and cultural fluency to all projects. His strengths lie in clarity of vision, strong stakeholder relationships, and the ability to design and

deliver transformative projects end-to-end. He holds a first-class degree in Mathematics and Economics, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified inspector with a background in high-performance leadership environments.

Dr. Ater Kranov is an internationally recognized expert in quality assurance and the evaluation of outcomes attainment and program impact. Ashley has decades of

experience as a consultant and executive at public and private institutions in the United States, MENA and GCC. She is known for her ability to catalyze and cultivate collaborations across fields, sectors, institutions, geographical boundaries and cultural differences to envision and realize ambitious goals.

Since 2010, Ashley’s work has focused on the design and implementation of transformational and large-scale initiatives at institutional, national and international levels. She leads units, institutions and advisory boards through strategic planning, business development, continuous improvement, program and product review, and the design and implementation of executive and professional education programs. In addition, Ashley has led multi-year, multi-million dollar national and international applied research projects to address persistent employability gaps in engineering and computing fields.

 

Ashley is an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Education and is widely published. She holds a PhD in Adult and Organizational Learning.
